KOLATZ Pool

A record pool for the way DJs actually work.

What KOLATZ Pool becomes

A DJ record pool, built for working DJs. Curated, current, and charted music — the kind of catalogue a record pool exists to provide — with provenance recorded on-chain so the artists behind every track get their plays counted, and their dues, accurately.

The pool is in development. The app will live at pool.kolatz.com, built for the people who use a pool every week: club and radio DJs, open-format selectors, and anyone whose job is to arrive with music nobody else has.

Why a pool

Record pools have served DJs since vinyl days: promo pipelines that feed working selectors the music they need before it breaks. The model works. The plumbing hasn’t kept up.

KOLATZ Pool keeps the curation and adds an auditable trail. Every selector, every chart position, and every report is recorded in a way artists and labels can verify — new math for an old institution, not a new institution.

What we’re building

For artists and labels

A record pool should be a promotional instrument, not a black box. KOLATZ Pool gives labels a channel that reports exactly where their music travels, and artists a play count that stands up to scrutiny.

The road ahead

We are building in the open, with working DJs and labels at the table. If you run a label, select professionally, or book talent — tell us what a pool should do for you. That conversation shapes what ships first.
